Discovery dive is not a course

Medical and participant screening

Both products require honest participant screening. A discovery dive is simpler than certified diving, but it is not medically consequence-free.

• Complete the centre’s current medical questionnaire honestly.
• Ask when physician clearance is required.
• Disclose ear, sinus, lung, cardiac, neurological, recent surgery, injury, pregnancy, panic or medication concerns where the questionnaire asks.
