Turkey Experience Booking Checklist 2026

Use this free checklist before paying for a balloon flight, paragliding flight, rafting or canyon product, scuba dive, sea-kayak route, boat trip, archaeological-site tour, private transfer, or combination package in Türkiye.

Copy the questions into your booking message, save the written answers, and compare products using the same criteria. A marketplace title, promotional photograph, review score, or destination name does not define the exact service.

1. Identify the exact product

□ Exact activity, route, site, flight, dive, vessel, raft, entrance or combination
□ Shared, private, introductory, certified, course, day-trip or multi-day format
□ Planned duration and realistic door-to-door time
□ Start and finish point
□ Named stops or components that are not guaranteed
□ Alternative route or product if conditions change

2. Identify who is responsible

□ Legal or trading name of the operating company
□ Name and role of the pilot, guide, instructor, captain or activity leader
□ Current authorization, competency or local-registration check where relevant
□ Difference between the reseller and the company actually conducting the activity
□ Emergency contact available on the activity day

3. Check every participant

□ Minimum and maximum age, height and weight
□ Swimming, certification, recent-experience or communication requirement
□ Mobility needed for boarding, launch, landing, ladders, walking, paddling or equipment
□ Medical questionnaire or physician-clearance requirement
□ Pregnancy, recent surgery, injury, ear/sinus, cardiac, neurological, respiratory or medication questions
□ Correct equipment sizes for children and adults
□ Voluntary participation and an opt-out plan

4. Check current conditions

□ Weather, wind, visibility, temperature and precipitation
□ Sea state, wave, current, water temperature and boat traffic

□ Official gate, facility, protected-area or archaeological-site status
□ Provider’s go/no-go or route-change decision process
□ Latest confirmation time and communication channel

5. Check equipment and supervision

□ Exact equipment included and charged separately
□ Inspection, servicing, cleaning, storage and replacement process
□ Participant-to-pilot, instructor, guide or leader structure
□ Briefing, practice and communication method
□ Helmet, buoyancy aid, lifejacket, exposure protection, computer, paddle, dry bag or other product-specific equipment
□ Shade, toilet, drinking water, changing and storage facilities

6. Check emergency arrangements

□ First-aid and product-specific emergency equipment
□ Communications and location coverage
□ Missing participant, capsize, separation, injury or equipment-failure procedure
□ Emergency oxygen where relevant
□ Evacuation or early-exit points
□ Nearest appropriate medical pathway
□ Insurance scope and exclusions

7. Compare the complete price

□ Pricing unit: person, room, dive, vessel, group, raft, vehicle or package
□ Final currency and exchange-rate rule
□ Deposit, balance and card surcharge
□ Transport and pickup zone
□ Entrances, equipment, food, drinks, media, certification and insurance
□ Child pricing and participant-counting rules
□ Extra hour, route, fuel, equipment or optional-component charges

8. Read the written terms

□ Provider cancellation
□ Participant cancellation
□ Weather or condition cancellation
□ Route substitution or shortened activity
□ Minimum group or passenger requirement
□ Unsuitable participant identified on the day
□ Refund, rebooking, credit or alternative product
□ Missed pickup and late arrival

9. Protect the wider itinerary

□ Schedule condition-sensitive activities before the final regional morning
□ Avoid a flight, airport transfer or intercity departure immediately afterward
□ Keep a realistic buffer for return time
□ Save the receipt, product description, pickup instructions and messages
□ Share the booking and emergency information with another adult
