1. Lycian Way day hikes: choose the section and return plan

A Lycian Way label is not enough to determine difficulty. A day product can begin around Ovacık, Kayaköy, Faralya or Kabak and may combine marked trail, local side paths, steep descent, loose surface and road sections. Ask for the exact start, finish, distance, ascent and descent before treating it as suitable.

• Choose the route direction deliberately; a descent-heavy itinerary is not automatically easier.
• Protect the return plan before walking: dolmuş, taxi, boat and private-transfer options are route- and time-dependent.
